Normally I would save a blog like this for my personal page, however I feel like this is something that should be shared with everyone…
One thing that I dislike so much in life is when you have everything you could ever ask for, throw it all away for something that you think is better and then it turns out to be the complete opposite of what you truly wanted in the first place. Turns out that what you really wanted was what you already had, or had the opportunity to have. My main inspiration in music in general is life itself and relationships. I cannot tell you how many of my friends have told me about their relationships and how they fit this scenario: Guy/Girl meet, start dating and become happy together. Eventually one or the other finds someone else, ditches the person they truly love only to find out they have made a mistake in the long run. Or scenario number 2, they completely shut out the person that would do everything in the world for them for someone who will only treat them less than how they should be treated.
I’m sorry but this little rant came from thousands of facebook status updates from one of my FB friends. It is rather ridiculous, because I do not feel symphony for this person. “He/She” knew what they were getting into prior to the situation that has come up. They had perfect opportunity with someone who would have treated them nicely from the get go, but yet again the nice guy finishes last.
*Note this has nothing to do with me, I’m not ranting about my own love life =) as I am perfectly fine with being single right now. I am simply noting as to where I can get inspiration to write lyrics all day long.

So again changes with us seem pretty consistent. We have been here and there, on and off over the past 9 months. We can promise that the 3 current core members will always stick together. We have found a new drummer who we are going to be meeting with as a band for the first time tomorrow.
A few quick questions to answer…
Set list/Songs:
We are now ATP V2.0 (no 2.0 is not apart of our name) We will NOT be playing the original songs! Blue Makes Noise and Negative Nancy are now completely out of the set list indefinitely. Tall like a Giant and When Lightning Strikes twice will be re-worded, re-written musically, and re-named. Hopeful Romantic will be replaced by a new acoustic song.
The new songs will be heavier, we will now incorporate screaming, Since I (Chad) will be doing the majority of vocals the tunes had to get heavier :). Travis will be doing backup singing vocals, and some lead vocals on slower songs. Think of old Far-less, He is Legend, and Chasing Victory.
We hope to be playing shows ASAP. We will not be doing any touring or extended shows. We all stay really busy, but promise to be productive. New tunes will be posted as soon as they are recorded. Just stay tuned, and as always

Last night we played at the Steelwater Coffee Bar in Wise VA with our friends “The Afterwhiles”. We had tons of fun both playing with and meeting them, as we did with everyone who came out to support both bands!
Last night was a pinnacle step in our lives and future as At the Premiere. Until last night we never really knew which direction we wanted to take in music. Mixed ideas of where the music was heading, was taking away from our full potential. Now we know where we are headed, we have our head on straight so to speak.
After we finish playing out our remaining shows, we plan on taking some time off from major shows to re-write and work out a new set list. We promise that the new tunes will be worth the wait! If you would like to know the direction we are taking then our song “negative nancy” (its currently our closing song) is the direction we feel most suits us.
We will come back with a bang and with loads of surprises following our short break. New songs,new everything! No one is leaving the band or anything like that, we are just slighly changing our sound.
For all of you who support us and/or have came out to see us, thank you so much! We hope you will be pleased with what all we have/will have to offer to you!

So we uploaded our new song “Blue makes noise” yesterday and you listened and you loved it! We had over 300 hits by the time the song was up 24 hours! We have had so many kind words and support!
We also sent in the song to tri-cities ZROCK 99.3 so call in saturday nights at 11 and request it!

We are recording this thursday night and should have the song “Blue makes noise” ready for your listening pleasure by this weekend. I think everyone is going to love this song as much as we do. I will post the song here on tumblr as well as it will be uploaded to our myspace page.
We have a banner on our myspace page and if you would like, then please put it on your page linking it back to our myspace! As soon as stickers get made we will put you on a list to get some stickers!

Why is it that girls are so into getting with thats they end up getting pissed at and wishing they had never dated? You know I am a nice guy and I as well as others agree with that. I’m not the normal boring nice guy, but the one you can have fun with and not worry about the abusive stuff, that you gals always get tied up in.
Here is where this rant came from. I used to work with this girl and I started talking to her to get to know her and maybe go out a time or two. She randomly stopped talking to me and dated a few guys over the past few months and all of those guys have been losers and made her hate all men…..I’m a good guy now and I was then, I bet you wouldn’t be saying that stuff about me that you are saying about them right about now….
This is why relationships kill me. I could go on for hours but ill stop right here.

I will have us some Sticker, Tshirt, and Banner designs next week. Possibly by this saturday night.
I hope that we can begin our promo photos this sunday at practice.
We will be recording at least one song in the next 3-4 weeks, possibly sooner.
The very next major blog we post will most likely and I hope to be a video blog, that will be available here, myspace, and youtube. We will try and make this video over the next few days so you can live a little of our lives.
